OpenADSB does not collect or forward any usage, user or device data.
OpenADSB makes the following network calls using HTTP or HTTPS as part of its normal operation:
Connects to the current track source server (as configured in Track Source within Settings) to fetch air traffic data.
Connects to airport-data.com to get aircraft thumbnail picture when a track is selected.
Connects to the configured search engine when a search is initiated from the track long-press context menu. The search engine provider is configurable in Track Search within Settings.
Connects to registry.faa.gov when a search is initiated from the track long-press context menu.
Connects to trackproc.com, OpenADSB's configuration and data server, to fetch configuration files.
When making network calls, OpenADSB honors, stores and sends all cookies as sent by the server. Furthermore, OpenADSB uses iOS' networking library which includes the app's name and build number in its HTTP headers, as well as any other standard HTTP headers.
